Crafting the Four Ladders

All four Speedy Ladders are made with a shaped crafting recipe. Each recipe uses the matching material in a ladder-like arrangement on the crafting grid.

• Stone Ladder — craft from stone blocks.
• Iron Ladder — craft from iron ingots.
• Gold Ladder — craft from gold ingots.
• Diamond Ladder — craft from diamonds.

Place the material in the same pattern you would use for a vanilla ladder recipe, substituting the material for the sticks. The result is the corresponding Speedy Ladder block.

Progression Order

Work up the tiers in order so you always have a faster ladder than the last:

1. Start with Stone Ladder — cheapest material, good for early bases and mineshafts.

2. Move to Iron Ladder once you have a steady iron supply.

3. Upgrade to Gold Ladder for fast vertical travel in your main base.

4. Finish with Diamond Ladder for the fastest climb on your most-used shafts.

Each tier is a direct upgrade in climb speed, so replace lower-tier ladders in high-traffic spots as you unlock the next material. Keep a stack of each on hand for quick swaps.
