Setting Up Your First Cooking Pot with Enhanced Visuals
Placement and Activation
To see the custom 3D cooking pot model in action, you'll need to place it correctly over a heat source. Position your cooking pot on top of a block that provides heat—typically a campfire or furnace works well. Once placed, the pot, handle, and tray will render with their custom 3D models instead of flat textures.
Viewing the Details
Get close to your cooking pot and rotate your view to inspect the parallax-mapped surfaces. The depth effect is most visible when light hits the pot at an angle. Look for the handle and tray details—these have dedicated 3D geometry that won't appear on vanilla pots. If the models don't show, verify that animated textures are enabled in your video settings and that the resource pack is active and ranked above any conflicting packs.
Cooking with Style
Once your pot is set up, use it normally to prepare meals. The animated textures on food items and the pot itself will update as you cook, giving your kitchen workspace a more dynamic, lived-in appearance compared to static vanilla blocks.
