When you defeat an animal (cow, sheep, pig, etc.), it has a chance to drop a spawn egg. This egg is the key to moving animals without leading them with food.

Moving Animals to a New Location

1. Defeat animals in your current location until you collect spawn eggs

2. Travel to your destination with the eggs in your inventory

3. Place the eggs on solid ground where you want the animals to appear

4. The animals will spawn immediately

Advantages Over Traditional Methods

This is much faster than using wheat or carrots to lead animals, especially over long distances or through difficult terrain. You can transport multiple animals at once by carrying stacks of eggs. This method works for any mob type that drops eggs, making it ideal for relocating entire herds to new farms or bases.
