Adjust Water Appearance and Quality Settings

Access Shader Options

1. Open Options > Video Settings > Shaders

2. Look for a Shader Options or Settings button next to the shader name

3. A menu will appear with adjustable parameters specific to Source Water Shaders

Common Adjustments

Depending on your system, you may find options to control:

• Wave intensity – how pronounced the water ripples appear
• Reflection quality – detail level of reflections on water surfaces
• Performance mode – toggle between visual quality and frame rate

Apply Changes

Adjust sliders or toggle options as desired, then close the menu. Changes apply immediately—no restart needed. If performance drops, reduce wave detail or reflection quality.

Reset to Defaults

If you want to return to the original shader look, most shader packs include a reset option in the settings menu, or you can simply relaunch the game.
