Craft the Vile Sword

The Vile Sword is a weapon made from mod materials. Craft it at a crafting table using Corrupted Ingot and Vile Dust. The exact arrangement follows a standard sword shape, with the blade material and a handle. Gather Corrupted Ingot by smelting Corrupted Essence, and collect Vile Dust from mob drops.

Fight with It

Equip the Vile Sword in your main hand. Use it to kill mobs. While you fight, your Soul Shard absorbs the souls of the mobs you kill, so carry both the sword and a shard together. The sword is your tool for generating the souls you need for spawning.

Build a Soul Farm Loop

Combine the Vile Sword, a Soul Shard, and a Soul Cage into a loop. Kill mobs with the sword to fill the shard, place the shard in the cage to spawn more mobs, then kill those with the sword to refill the shard. This keeps your soul supply running without hunting far from your base.
