How to Use the Soul Sand Monster Spawn Egg

Getting and Holding the Egg

Soul Sand Monster Spawn Egg is one of the mod's registered items. Keep it in your hotbar and select it like any other spawn egg. It is a single-use style item in normal play, so decide where you want the mob to appear before you click.

Spawning the Mob

Aim at a solid block surface within reach and use the spawn egg. The mob appears at that spot. Spawn it on flat, well-lit ground where you can see it clearly, and avoid spawning it inside your walls or next to your storage, since a hostile mob loose in your base is hard to remove. If you are testing combat gear such as Soul Sand Sword or the Soul Sand armor set, spawn the monster in an open arena with room to back away. Build a small pit or fenced pen first if you want to contain it. After spawning, switch immediately to your sword so you are not caught holding the egg while the mob attacks.
