Using Mega Evolution in combat

Mega Evolutions in Soul Megas are triggered through compatible battle systems. The data pack works alongside battle add-ons like CobblemonMegas and Flourish, which handle the transformation mechanics during fights.

How to Mega Evolve

1. Ensure your Cobblemon has a Mega form available (check the featured list: starters like Charizard, Blastoise, Sceptile, and popular battlers like Lucario and Gengar all have Mega forms)

2. Enter a battle with another trainer or wild Pokémon

3. When selecting your move, look for a Mega Evolution option if your battle add-on supports it—this typically appears as a special command during your turn

4. Select the Mega Evolution command to transform your Pokémon mid-battle

5. Your creature will adopt its Mega form, gaining stat boosts and potentially new abilities for the duration of the battle

Important notes

Mega Evolution availability depends on your installed battle add-on. Check that CobblemonMegas, Flourish, or your chosen battle system is properly configured. The transformation is temporary and lasts only for the current battle.
