Choose Between Pixel-Perfect and Standard Texture Styles
Understanding Your Style Options
This resource pack includes two distinct visual approaches to the Sonic character beds. The standard textures blend smoothly with modern Minecraft's rendering, while the pixel-perfect option maintains strict retro Genesis-era aesthetics with no smoothing or interpolation.
How to Select Your Preferred Style
Resource packs typically load in order, with later packs overriding earlier ones. Check your resource pack folder and load order in the Minecraft launcher. If you have both style variants available, place your preferred version in the active packs section.
If the launcher shows a compatibility warning about the pack being outdated, ignore it—this pack works across multiple game versions despite the alert. The warning does not affect functionality.
Testing Your Choice
Place or interact with beds in your world to see the character artwork. Look at both the pillow and blanket areas, as both receive custom textures. If the pixels appear too smooth, switch to the pixel-perfect variant. If they look too blocky or harsh, use the standard version instead.
You can swap between styles by changing your active resource pack without losing progress.
