Reduce Bloom Effect for Clearer Vision

Open Bloom Settings

Access your shader configuration menu and search for "Bloom," "Glow," or "Bloom Strength" options.

Lower the Bloom Value

The bloom effect creates a soft halo around bright objects like the sun, glowing blocks, and bright sky areas. If this glow feels too intense or blurs your vision when looking at bright sources, reduce the bloom slider.

Find Your Balance

Completely disabling bloom removes the soft aesthetic that Soft Shaders provides. Instead, lower it to a level where bright areas still have a gentle glow but don't obscure detail. This is especially important when mining near lava or looking at the sky during midday.

Test Different Times

Bloom is most noticeable during bright conditions. Adjust settings during daytime, then check how it looks at night or in caves to ensure visibility remains good across all lighting scenarios.
