Enhance Colored Light from Blocks

Locate Colored Lighting Options

In your shader settings, find the "Colored Lights" or "Light Tinting" option. This controls how much colored light from blocks like glowstone, lanterns, and redstone lamps influences their surroundings.

Enable and Adjust Intensity

Turn on colored lighting if it isn't already active. Look for a slider controlling light spread or saturation. Increasing this value makes colored light glow further into dark spaces and appear more vibrant.

Test in Different Environments

Visit caves with scattered light sources, or build a small room with various colored light blocks. Observe how the tinted glow spreads across walls and floors. Adjust until the effect feels natural—too high and colors become oversaturated; too low and the feature becomes invisible.

Combine with Other Settings

Colored lighting works best when paired with the mod's soft shadows. Ensure shadow settings aren't set to maximum darkness, as this can dull the colored light effect.
