Understanding Connected Glass

Soartex Fanver includes connected texture support for glass blocks. When glass panes or blocks are placed adjacent to each other, the textures blend seamlessly across the boundaries instead of showing visible grid lines or frame edges.

Setup Requirements

1. Install a connected texture mod (such as Continuity) to enable this feature.

2. Load your world with both the mod and resource pack active.

3. Place glass blocks or glass panes next to each other.

Building with Connected Glass

• Create large windows by placing glass blocks in grids—they'll render as one continuous pane.
• Build greenhouses or glass domes; the seamless textures create a cleaner, more modern appearance.
• Combine glass with other blocks; the connected textures only apply to adjacent glass, leaving other materials unaffected.
• Use glass panes for railings or decorative screens; they'll connect smoothly to each other.

Visual Result

Instead of seeing individual block frames, you'll see smooth, uninterrupted glass surfaces that look more like real windows or architectural glass installations.
