How to Craft and Place Glow Lights

Crafting Glow Lights

Glow Lights come in every dye colour plus Prismatic Glow Lights. Each coloured variant is made through a crafting_shapeless recipe that combines a Glow Light base with the matching dye colour. Prismatic Glow Lights are their own distinct variant and are not made by dyeing.

To get started, gather the dye colours you want and craft the matching Glow Lights one at a time. Because the recipe is shapeless, the exact arrangement of ingredients in the grid does not matter — only which items are present.

Using Glow Lights

Place Glow Lights like any full block by right-clicking a surface with them selected. They emit light, so use them to illuminate builds, mark paths, or line the edges of a Gingerbread house. Swap colours freely by crafting a new variant rather than recolouring a placed block.

If you want a single light source that shifts through many colours, craft Prismatic Glow Lights and place those instead of individual coloured ones. Keep a stack of each colour on hand so you can adjust a build without returning to a crafting table.
