Building with Gingerbread Blocks

Gingerbread Building Set

Gingerbread is the core building block of the mod, and it has a full family of shapes: Gingerbread, Gingerbread Slab, Gingerbread Stairs, Gingerbread Door, and Gingerbread Trapdoor. Frosted Gingerbread is a separate decorated variant. Craft the base Gingerbread first, then use it to make the slabs, stairs, door, and trapdoor through their respective crafting recipes.

Decorating with Frosted Gingerbread

Frosted Gingerbread gives you a finished, decorated look without extra blocks. Use it for walls and roofs where you want the icing detail visible, and use plain Gingerbread for structural filler.

Combine the set for a complete house: Gingerbread walls, Gingerbread Stairs for the roof edges, Gingerbread Slab for trim and half-height details, a Gingerbread Door for the entrance, and Gingerbread Trapdoor for windows or attic access. Frosted Gingerbread works well as an accent band between floors. Because all pieces share the same base material, the palette stays consistent across the whole build.
