Red Nether Brick

Craft Snow Covered Red Nether Brick Slab and Snow Covered Red Nether Brick Stairs. The red variant gives a warmer tone under the snow and pairs well with the standard nether brick when you want a two-tone wall.

Combining the Two

Use Snow Covered Nether Brick Slab as the base course of a wall and Snow Covered Red Nether Brick Stairs above it for a stepped edge, or reverse the order for a different contrast. Because both are shaped crafting recipes, you can craft slabs and stairs of each texture at the same table. Keep the two colors in separate chests so you do not accidentally place a red stair in a plain nether brick run. Slabs are best for flat caps and half-block fills; stairs are best for corners, battlements, and ramps.
