How to Craft a Snow-Covered Slab

What You Need

A Snow-Covered Slab combines a normal slab with a snow layer. You need one slab of your chosen material and one snow layer (the thin snow you get by breaking snow with a shovel, or by crafting).

Crafting Steps

1. Place your slab and a snow layer together in the crafting grid.

2. Take the resulting Snow-Covered Slab out.

The Snow-Covered Slab looks like a slab with a thin layer of snow on top. It behaves like a slab for placement — you can put it on the top or bottom half of a block.

Placing It

Right-click the face of a block to place the Snow-Covered Slab. It will snap to the top or bottom half depending on where you aim. Use it on paths, roofs, or anywhere you want a snow-covered edge without a full snow block.

Breaking It

Break the Snow-Covered Slab with any tool or by hand. It drops itself, so you can pick it up and reuse it. If you use a shovel, it breaks faster.

Stacking

You can stack Snow-Covered Slabs like normal slabs — two in the same block space make a full block shape, but the snow layer stays on top. This is useful for building snow-covered platforms.
