How to Craft a Snow-Covered Fence and Fence Gate

Snow-Covered Fence

A Snow-Covered Fence is made from one fence and one snow layer.

1. Put your fence and a snow layer in the crafting grid.

2. Take the Snow-Covered Fence out.

Place it like a normal fence. It connects to other fences and fence gates. The snow sits on top of the fence posts. You cannot jump over it, same as a normal fence.

Snow-Covered Fence Gate

A Snow-Covered Fence Gate is made from one fence gate and one snow layer.

1. Put your fence gate and a snow layer in the crafting grid.

2. Take the Snow-Covered Fence Gate out.

Place it like a normal fence gate. Right-click to open and close it. The snow stays on top when it opens and closes.

Using Them Together

Use Snow-Covered Fences and Snow-Covered Fence Gates to build pens, paths, or yard borders in snowy areas. They match the look of Snow-Covered Slabs and Snow-Covered Stairs, so you can build a whole snow-covered structure.

Breaking Them

Break either block with any tool or by hand. They drop themselves. A shovel breaks them faster.
