Where Frozen Ham Comes From

Frozen Ham is one of the four registered items in the Snow Pig Mod, alongside Frozen Porkchop, the Music Disc, and the Snow Pig Spawn Egg. It is obtained from Snow Pigs — the same mob that produces Frozen Porkchop.

Farming Steps

1. Craft a Snow Pig Spawn Egg and spawn two Snow Pigs in a cold biome pen.

2. Breed them so the herd grows.

3. Harvest adult Snow Pigs for Frozen Ham drops.

Frozen Ham functions as a food item. Keep a stack in your inventory for cold-biome exploration, since it does not require cooking to be useful.

Storage and Use

Store Frozen Ham in a chest, barrel, or shulker box near your Snow Pig pen so you can top up without travelling. If you also farm Frozen Porkchop from the same herd, sort the two items into separate chests with item frames so you can tell them apart at a glance. Frozen Ham and Frozen Porkchop are both edible, so decide which one you want to keep for food and which to save for breeding or trading.
