How to Get a Snow Pig Spawn Egg

What You Need

A Snow Pig Spawn Egg is the starting point for everything else in the mod. You need a crafting setup and the base materials the mod uses for its recipes.

Crafting the Spawn Egg

Place your crafting grid and combine the mod's base ingredients to produce a Snow Pig Spawn Egg. The spawn egg is one of the four registered items in the mod, alongside Frozen Ham, Frozen Porkchop, and the Music Disc.

Once crafted, hold the Snow Pig Spawn Egg and use it on a block surface to spawn a Snow Pig. Spawn it on snow, ice, or packed ice if you want it to stay in a cold biome — Snow Pigs are built for frozen terrain.

After Spawning

A spawned Snow Pig can be bred and farmed for the mod's other items. Keep at least two Snow Pigs near each other so you can start producing Frozen Ham and Frozen Porkchop drops. If you lose your spawn egg, you can craft another using the same recipe, so keep a stack of the base ingredients in a chest near your snow pen.
