Adjust GUI Opacity to Your Preference

Access Resource Pack Settings

The Smooth PvP Overlay Resource Pack applies transparency to your interface by default, but you can fine-tune how much you can see through menus and hotbars.

Customize Opacity Levels

Open your resource pack folder and locate the assets directory. Navigate to the GUI texture files where opacity values are defined. You can edit these files to increase or decrease how transparent your inventory, hotbar, and other menus appear during combat.

If you want more visibility of your surroundings while managing inventory, reduce the opacity further. If you prefer a more visible interface, increase the opacity values. Test your changes in-game by opening your inventory and hotbar to see the effect immediately.

Apply and Test

Save your edits and reload the resource pack in your resource packs menu. Switch between different opacity levels during actual PvP encounters to find what works best for your playstyle. Some players prefer nearly invisible menus for maximum awareness, while others want a balance between interface visibility and screen clarity.
