Connect Drawers to Automation Systems

Drawer Compatibility

Storage Drawers integrate with Minecraft's item transfer systems. Hoppers, item pipes, and other mods' automation tools can insert items into drawers and extract from them, treating drawers like chests.

Setting Up Item Input

Place a hopper above or beside a drawer and feed items into it. The hopper will automatically distribute items into the drawer below. This works for multiple drawers in a row—items flow into the first available drawer.

Extracting Items Automatically

Place a hopper below a drawer to pull items out. Configure the hopper to extract specific item types if your mod version supports filtering, or it will pull items in the order they were stored.

Scaling Your System

Build large automated storage walls by connecting multiple drawer rows to hopper systems. Items from farms, mob grinders, or other sources feed into your drawer network automatically. The Smooth Drawers Resource Pack keeps these setups looking cohesive and organized alongside vanilla wood blocks and automation components.
