How to Craft a Sleeping Bag in Sleeping Bags Mod

Pick Your Color First

Every sleeping bag in this mod is a separate item, so decide which of the sixteen colors you want before you start gathering materials. The available items are Black Sleeping Bag, Blue Sleeping Bag, Brown Sleeping Bag, Cyan Sleeping Bag, Gray Sleeping Bag, Green Sleeping Bag, Light Blue Sleeping Bag, Light Gray Sleeping Bag, Lime Sleeping Bag, Magenta Sleeping Bag, Orange Sleeping Bag, Pink Sleeping Bag, Purple Sleeping Bag, Red Sleeping Bag, White Sleeping Bag, and Yellow Sleeping Bag.

Crafting the Bag

Sleeping bags are made with a shaped crafting recipe, so the arrangement of ingredients in the grid matters. Place your ingredients in the pattern the recipe calls for and the matching colored Sleeping Bag appears in the result slot. Because the recipe is shaped, moving an ingredient to the wrong slot produces nothing, so follow the layout exactly.

If you want a different color, you do not convert an existing bag. Each color has its own shaped recipe, so craft the specific color you want from the start. This means a Red Sleeping Bag and a Blue Sleeping Bag are made separately rather than dyed from one another.

Once crafted, the sleeping bag is a placeable item. Carry it in your inventory so you can set it down wherever you plan to spend the night, then pick it back up when you move on. Crafting several in different colors lets you match a base, a camp, or a travel kit without recrafting each time.
