How to Craft Present Lanterns

Present Lantern Colors

There are two Present Lanterns: Green Present Lantern and Red Present Lantern. Each also has a soul variant: Green Present Soul Lantern and Red Present Soul Lantern. These are the holiday gift-themed lanterns in the mod.

Crafting Steps

Present Lanterns use shapeless recipes. Combine a Lantern with the present-themed ingredient to get the regular version, or combine a Soul Lantern with the same ingredient to get the soul version. The Green Present Lantern and Red Present Lantern each use their own color-matched ingredient. Because the recipe is shapeless, ingredient position in the crafting grid does not matter.

Decorating with Present Lanterns

Hang Present Lanterns in rows above a doorway, along a mantelpiece, or around a tree. Alternate red and green to create a candy-cane pattern. Use the soul versions for a cooler flame that stands out against warm holiday lighting. Because both colors are available in regular and soul forms, you can build a full set of four lanterns from just two base colors. Place them at the same height so the row reads as a single decoration rather than scattered lights.
