Mob-themed lanterns include Bee Lantern, Creeper Lantern, Skeleton Lantern, Slime Lantern, Ghost Lantern, Guardian Lantern, Snowman Lantern, Honey Lantern, Inky Lantern, Resin Lantern, Pufferfish Lantern, and Jellyfish Lantern. Each of these also has a Soul Lantern variant: Bee Soul Lantern, Creeper Soul Lantern, Skeleton Soul Lantern, Slime Soul Lantern, Ghost Soul Lantern, Guardian Soul Lantern, Snowman Soul Lantern, Honey Soul Lantern, Inky Soul Lantern, Resin Soul Lantern, Pufferfish Soul Lantern, and Jellyfish Soul Lantern.

Crafting Steps

All mob lanterns use shapeless recipes. Start with a Lantern for the regular version or a Soul Lantern for the soul version, then combine it with the item that represents the mob. For example, the Creeper Lantern pairs a Lantern with a creeper-themed ingredient, and the Bee Lantern pairs a Lantern with a bee-themed ingredient. Because the recipe is shapeless, ingredient placement does not matter.

Where to Hang Them

Use Creeper Lanterns around a mob farm entrance, Skeleton Lanterns in a bone-themed storage room, and Slime Lanterns in a swamp base. Ghost Lanterns and Soul variants work well in dark corridors. Jellyfish and Pufferfish Lanterns fit ocean monuments and aquarium builds. Mixing regular and soul versions of the same mob lantern gives you two light levels from one theme.
