There are three Ender Lanterns: Creeper Ender Lantern, Jack o'Lantern Ender Lantern, and Skeleton Ender Lantern. These combine the mob-themed lantern look with an ender aesthetic, giving you a dark, purple-tinged light source for End-themed builds.

Crafting Steps

Ender Lanterns use shapeless recipes. You need the base lantern for the mob theme plus an ender-related ingredient. For the Creeper Ender Lantern, combine the creeper-themed lantern ingredients with an ender ingredient. The Jack o'Lantern Ender Lantern uses the Jack o'Lantern Lantern as its base plus the ender ingredient. The Skeleton Ender Lantern uses the skeleton-themed base plus the ender ingredient. Because the recipe is shapeless, you can arrange the items in any slot in the crafting grid.

Build Placement

Ender Lanterns suit End cities, obsidian towers, and portal rooms. Hang Creeper Ender Lanterns along a corridor leading to a dragon arena. Use Jack o'Lantern Ender Lanterns as accent lights on a Nether-to-End transit hub. Skeleton Ender Lanterns work as ceiling lights in a mob grinder. Pair them with the non-ender versions of the same mob lantern to vary the light color without changing the silhouette.
