How to Grow Tea Leaves and Craft Tea Bags in Simply Tea

Planting and Harvesting

Start with a Tea Sapling. Plant it and let it grow into a Tea Trunk. The Tea Trunk is the source of Tea Leaf, which is the base material for most tea recipes. Harvest Tea Leaf from your grown tea plant and replant as needed so you always have a supply.

Tea Stick and Tea Trunk also serve as building materials. Tea Fence and Tea Fence Gate are crafted from these, so a tea farm doubles as a source of decorative fencing.

Turning Leaves into Tea Bags

Tea Leaf is processed into Tea Bag, the generic bag used for basic brewing. From there you branch into flavored bags: Black Tea Bag, Green Tea Bag, Chamomile Tea Bag, Dandelion Tea Bag, and Chorus Tea Bag. Chorus Tea Bag requires Chorus Petal, so gather those separately if you want that variety.

Once you have bags, combine them with a Cup of Water to produce the corresponding drink. The mod includes Cup of Black Tea, Cup of Green Tea, Cup of Chamomile Tea, Cup of Chai Tea, Cup of Dandelion Tea, Cup of Chorus Tea, Cup of Apple Iced Tea, and Cup of Hot Chocolate. Ice Cube is the ingredient that turns a tea into its iced form.

Smelting, smoking, and campfire cooking are all used across these recipes, so keep a furnace, smoker, and campfire available.
