How to Grow and Harvest Tea Leaves in Simply Tea

Planting the Tea Sapling

Tea starts with a Tea Sapling. Place it on dirt or grass like any other sapling and let it grow into a Tea Trunk. The trunk is the wood source for the mod, and it also supports the foliage you harvest. Bone meal speeds the sapling along if you have it. Once the Tea Trunk matures, you can break it for Tea Stick and use the wood for building or crafting.

Collecting Tea Leaf

The key brewing ingredient is Tea Leaf. Harvest leaves from your grown tea plants and keep a stockpile, because every tea bag recipe draws on them. Tea Leaf feeds into the bag recipes that produce Tea Bag, Black Tea Bag, and Green Tea Bag, along with the specialty bags made from Chorus Petal and dandelions. Dandelions are gathered in the world for Dandelion Tea Bag, and Chorus Petal comes from chorus plants for Chorus Tea Bag. Chamomile follows the same pattern for Chamomile Tea Bag. Plant several Tea Saplings so you always have leaves ready, and replant after harvest. The Tea Trunk also gives you Tea Stick, useful for crafting and for the Tea Fence and Tea Fence Gate if you want to build with tea wood around your garden.
