How to Cast Death Strike with a Greataxe

Equipping and Activating

Death Strike is a spell ability bound to heavy axes and glaives from Simply Swords. To use it, you need a greataxe (iron, gold, diamond, netherite, or runic variants) in your main hand.

Hold the weapon and look at your target. Press and hold the ability key (default is right-click or your mod-configured ability button). Your character will begin channeling the dark magic. Release to unleash the Death Strike spell at your opponent.

Understanding the Attack

Death Strike deals significant damage in an area around your target. The spell consumes durability from your weapon with each cast. Heavier tiers (like netherite) deal more damage but may have longer cooldowns between uses.

The attack works best against single tough enemies or small groups. It's particularly effective against bosses and heavily armored mobs. Be aware that casting leaves you briefly vulnerable, so use it strategically in combat rather than spamming continuously.

If the spell doesn't activate, ensure you have both the Simply Swords and Death Knights mods properly installed and loaded.
