Adjust Lighting Brightness and Saturation

Access Shader Settings

Open the shader options menu while in-game by pressing the designated shader settings key (usually accessed through your graphics menu or mod settings). Simply Solid Shaders provides intuitive sliders for visual customization without requiring technical knowledge.

Customize Your Lighting

Look for brightness and saturation controls in the main settings panel. The mod includes balanced presets optimized for different hardware levels—select the preset matching your system performance first, then fine-tune from there.

If colored lighting from torches and luminous blocks feels too intense, reduce the saturation slider to tone down vibrant glows. For darker exploration, increase brightness to make night caves and dungeons more visible without washing out the cartoon aesthetic.

Apply Changes

Adjustments take effect immediately in most cases. Test your changes in different lighting conditions—try both bright daylight and dark caves to ensure the balance feels right for your playstyle. You can always return to presets if custom settings don't feel right.
