Match Concrete Colors for Seamless Building
Understanding Color Accuracy
The Simply Concrete Pack removes the dots and texture details from vanilla concrete, revealing the true, solid color of each block. This makes color matching much more reliable than with standard textures, where noise can make similar colors appear different.
Color Matching Process
1. Place test blocks: Before building large sections, place several concrete blocks of your chosen color in the area where you'll build.
2. View in context: Check how the color looks in different lighting conditions and next to other blocks you're using.
3. Compare side-by-side: Place similar-looking concrete colors next to each other to spot subtle differences. The flat textures make these distinctions clear.
4. Document your choices: Write down or remember which concrete colors you selected so you can maintain consistency across your project.
Mixing Concrete and Powder
Concrete powder blocks have a slightly different appearance than solid concrete of the same color. Use this intentionally—powder for softer areas, solid concrete for bold sections. This creates visual variety while keeping everything looking clean and intentional.
