Feeding and Caring for Cats in Simply Cats

Placing Food and Water

Craft a Cat Bowl in any color — Black, Blue, Brown, Cyan, Gray, Green, Light Blue, Light Gray, Lime, Magenta, Orange, Pink, Purple, Red, or White. Place it on the ground and fill it with food so your cats can eat. Refill bowls regularly; empty bowls mean hungry cats.

Litter and Hygiene

Place a Litter Box near your cats' living area. Litter Boxes come in the same color range as Cat Bowls. Cats will use the Litter Box on their own. Keep at least one Litter Box per few cats so none are left without a spot.

Resting Spots

Give each cat a Tree Bed to sleep in. Tree Beds are available in Black, Blue, Brown, Cyan, Gray, Green, Light Blue, Light Gray, Lime, Magenta, Orange, Pink, Purple, Red, and White. A Tree Box or Tree Post also gives cats a place to climb and scratch.

Scratching and Play

Cats scratch to stay happy. Provide a Scratching Post made from Oak, Birch, Spruce, Jungle, Acacia, Dark Oak, Crimson, or Warped wood. A Window Perch in matching wood types lets cats sit and watch the world outside.

Health and Handling

Use a Sterilization Potion if you want to stop a cat from breeding. Use a Pet Carrier to move a cat safely, and a Release Certificate to set one free. An Adoption Certificate registers a tamed cat as yours.
