Crafting and Using Cat Furniture in Simply Cats

Furniture types

The mod provides three main pieces of cat furniture, each in many colour and wood variants. Tree Beds come in sixteen colours, from Black Tree Bed through White Tree Bed. Cat Bowls and Litter Boxes also come in sixteen colours each. Scratching Posts and Window Perches come in wood variants: Oak, Spruce, Birch, Jungle, Acacia, Dark Oak, Crimson and Warped.

Placing furniture

1. Craft a Tree Bed in the colour you want and place it on the floor. Your cat will use it to sleep.

2. Craft a Cat Bowl in a matching colour and place it near the bed. Keep it filled so your cat can eat.

3. Craft a Litter Box and place it in a corner. Your cat will use it instead of soiling the floor.

4. Craft a Scratching Post from any wood type and place it upright. Cats scratch it to maintain their claws.

5. Craft a Window Perch from any wood type and place it against a window so your cat can sit and look outside.

Choosing variants

All colour variants of Tree Bed, Cat Bowl and Litter Box behave the same way, so pick colours that match your build. The same applies to Scratching Post and Window Perch wood types. Use the Cat Book to confirm your cat is using the furniture you placed.
