Breeding Cats in Simply Cats

Preparing two cats

Breeding requires two tamed cats of your own. Tame each one with a Treat Bag and an Adoption Certificate as described in the taming guide. Once both cats are registered to you, keep them in the same area so they can interact.

Breeding setup

1. Place a Tree Bed for each cat so both have a resting spot nearby.

2. Place a Cat Bowl for each cat and keep them filled. Well-fed cats are more willing to breed.

3. Provide a Litter Box so the area stays clean while the cats are together.

4. Add a Scratching Post so the cats have an outlet for scratching behaviour instead of wandering off.

Managing the litter

After breeding, the resulting kittens belong to you and can be handled with the same tools as adult cats. Use a Pet Carrier to move kittens to a new area, and use a Sterilization Potion on any cat you do not want to breed further. If you need to rehome a cat, use a Release Certificate to return it to the wild. Keep Cat Bowls stocked and Litter Boxes emptied so a growing group of cats stays healthy.
