How to Smelt and Store Raw Ores

Raw Tin, Raw Mythril, and Raw Adamantium all come out of the ground as raw drops. You have two ways to handle them: smelt them, or store them raw.

Smelting Raw Ore

Put Raw Tin, Raw Mythril, or Raw Adamantium into a furnace or blast furnace. Each smelts into its matching ingot: Tin Ingot, Mythril Ingot, or Adamantium Ingot. Blasting is faster if you have one. Keep a stack of fuel ready before you start a big batch.

Raw Storage Blocks

If you are not ready to smelt, compress raw ore into Block of Raw Tin, Block of Raw Mythril, or Block of Raw Adamantium. These are compact storage and can be broken back down when you want to smelt later.

Ingot Storage Blocks

Once smelted, store ingots as Block of Tin, Block of Mythril, or Block of Adamantium. Nugget forms — Tin Nugget, Mythril Nugget, Adamantium Nugget — let you break a single ingot into smaller units for fine-grained recipes.

Workflow Tip

Smelt in batches, then immediately compress into blocks so your chests stay organized. Keep one stack of each ingot loose for crafting tools and armor on demand.
