How to Craft Onyx Bows, Rods, and Bricks

Onyx is a distinct SimpleOres material with its own tools, weapons, and building set. It does not follow the Tin–Mythril–Adamantium ingot chain.

Onyx Tools and Weapons

Craft Onyx Sword, Onyx Pickaxe, Onyx Axe, Onyx Shovel, Onyx Hoe, and Onyx Shears using Onyx. Onyx Bow is the ranged weapon in this set. Onyx Rod is a component item used in further crafting.

Onyx Armor

Onyx Helmet, Onyx Chestplate, Onyx Leggings, and Onyx Boots use the standard armor layouts. Wear the full set for a matching loadout.

Onyx Building Blocks

Onyx Bricks are the main decorative block. From Onyx Bricks you can craft Onyx Brick Slab and Onyx Brick Stairs. Onyx Bars, Onyx Door, and Onyx Pressure Plate cover grates, entryways, and redstone triggers.

Using Onyx Rod

Keep Onyx Rod in your crafting stock — it is a component, not a tool. Combine it with other Onyx items when a recipe calls for it.

Build Idea

Line a base with Onyx Bricks, then accent with Onyx Brick Stairs and Onyx Brick Slab. Add Onyx Bars over windows and an Onyx Door at the entrance for a consistent look.
