Placing the Test Furnace

The Test Furnace is a registered block in SimpleCore API. Place it on any solid surface by selecting it in your hotbar and right-clicking the ground. It occupies a single block space like a standard furnace.

Smelting with the Test Furnace

Right-click the placed Test Furnace to open its interface. The top slot accepts the item you want to smelt, and the bottom slot accepts fuel. Valid fuels are the same as a vanilla furnace — coal, charcoal, planks, and similar burnable items.

Output appears in the right-hand slot. Collect it by shift-clicking or dragging it into your inventory. The Test Furnace is intended for verifying that SimpleCore API's block registration and block-entity behavior work correctly, so use it to confirm that smelting recipes from other mods also resolve through the API.

Combining with Other Registry Blocks

Set the Test Furnace next to Original Copper Ore and Test Pressure Plate to build a compact test station. Smelt ore in the Test Furnace, then route the output onto a Test Pressure Plate to confirm item detection works. This gives you a single area to validate all three registered blocks at once.
