Finding and Mining Original Copper Ore

Original Copper Ore is a registered block in SimpleCore API. It generates or is placed like any other ore block. Mine it with a pickaxe — a stone pickaxe or better is the safe choice. Breaking it without the correct tool yields nothing, so always bring a pickaxe.

Processing the Drop

Once mined, Original Copper Ore drops itself or its raw form depending on how the registry is configured. Feed the drop into a Test Furnace with fuel in the bottom slot to smelt it. The Test Furnace is the registered smelting block in SimpleCore API, so it is the intended destination for ore processing in this setup.

Place the ore, a Test Furnace, and fuel in the same area to keep the loop short. Mine ore, smelt it, and store the result.

Using Ore in Test Builds

Original Copper Ore is useful as a placement target when verifying that SimpleCore API registers blocks correctly. Place a stack of it in a line, then run a Test Pressure Plate and Test Shears alongside it to confirm all four registry entries coexist. If the ore places and breaks cleanly, block registration is working. If it does not, check load order before anything else.
