How to Use Remotes and Request Tables

Craft and bind a remote

A Storage Remote lets you open network storage from a distance. A Crafting Remote adds crafting access. An Expanded Remote holds more. A Network Builder Remote places network blocks for you, a Network Collector Remote gathers items into the network, and a Network Picker Remote picks specific items out. To bind a remote, use it on the Controller or the Storage Network Root so it links to that network.

Request items at a table

Place a Storage Request Table and connect it with Network Cable. Open it to search the pooled inventory and pull stacks into your inventory. The Expanded Request Table offers a larger interface for the same job. Use these when you want a fixed terminal instead of carrying a remote.

Sub-networks and receivers

A Sub-Network Receiver lets a separate network section report into a main network. Place the receiver, link it with Network Cable to the sub-network, and link the main side back to the Controller. This keeps remote storage accessible from the main Controller without running one long cable. If a remote stops working, re-bind it to the Controller and confirm the Controller still sees every linked Storage Inventory and Network Collection Interface.
