How to Use the Shooter Upgrade and Cargo Plane

Install the Shooter Upgrade

Build a Shooter Upgrade and fit it to your airframe at the Plane Workbench. Once installed, the aircraft can fire while in flight. Enter the plane or helicopter, start the engine, and use the fire control to shoot. The Shooter Upgrade works alongside Plane Armor, so fit both if you expect combat. Use a Wrench to remove the Shooter Upgrade and move it to another aircraft.

Load and Fly the Cargo Plane

Build the Cargo Plane at the Plane Workbench. It is the largest airframe and is meant for hauling. Attach a Supply Crate to carry items in flight. Install a suitable Engine, fuel or charge it, then take off like any other Plane: build throttle on a flat runway, then climb. Add a Seats Upgrade if you want to bring passengers along with the cargo.

Support Equipment

Keep a Charging Station and Solar Panel at your base to recharge an Electric Engine between runs. Carry a Quick Fix Kit for repairs and a Wrench for swapping parts. Floaty Bedding lets the Cargo Plane land on water, and a Rocket Booster gives extra thrust when fully loaded. A Folding Upgrade lets you pack the Cargo Plane into an item for transport when you are not flying it.
