How to Make Bread from Grain Crops

Growing the Grain

Three grain crops feed bread recipes: Barley, Oat, and Corn. Plant Barley Seeds, Oat, and Corn Seeds on farmland and let them mature. Harvest Barley to get Barley and Barley Seeds, which you replant for the next cycle. Corn grows as a tall block crop and yields Corn plus Corn Seeds. Oat is harvested as a grain block.

Baking the Loaves

Barley produces Barley Bread. Corn produces Cornbread. Both are made through the crafting recipes tied to those grains, so keep a stack of harvested grain in your inventory before you start. If you want a sweeter bake, Bananas harvested from Banana Leaves combine into Banana Bread using the crafting recipes for that item.

Scaling Up

Barley also compacts into Barley Hay Bale, which is useful for storage and for feeding animals. Run a dedicated plot for each grain so you always have Barley, Corn, and Oat available at once. Replant seeds immediately after harvest so the next batch is already growing while you bake the current one.
