Reduce Frame Drops While Keeping Visual Quality
Identify Performance Bottlenecks
Check your current FPS using F3 debug screen. Silva Pro is designed for low-end systems, but quality settings can still be tuned. Open Shader Options and look for toggles related to shadow quality, animation detail, and effects intensity.
Disable or Lower Shadow Quality
Soft shadows are a key feature, but they consume GPU resources. Try reducing shadow distance or resolution if you're experiencing stuttering. This maintains the shader's clean look while freeing up performance.
Reduce Animation Detail
Waving leaves, grass, and water add visual appeal but cost frames. Look for animation intensity or wave frequency sliders and lower them incrementally. You'll retain the effect while improving performance.
Lower Sky and Water Effects
Skybox improvements and water reflections can be scaled back. Disable advanced water reflections if needed—basic water still looks good and runs faster.
Monitor Results
After each adjustment, play for a few minutes in varied terrain. Watch FPS in different biomes and times of day. The goal is finding the sweet spot where visuals remain appealing and gameplay stays smooth.
