Processing Ores into Ingots and Dusts

Mining Ores

Silent Gear adds several ores: Crimson Iron Ore, Azure Silver Ore, Bort Ore, Deepslate Bort Ore, and Blackstone Crimson Iron Ore. Mining these yields Ore Chunks or raw blocks such as Raw Crimson Iron Block and Raw Azure Silver Block.

Crushing and Dusts

Process ore chunks into dusts. Crimson Iron Dust, Azure Silver Dust, Crimson Steel Dust, Blaze Gold Dust, Azure Electrum Dust, and Blazing Dust are all intermediate materials. Use a Crude Mixer or Super Mixer to break chunks down into dusts.

Smelting to Ingots

Smelt dusts or chunks in a furnace or blast furnace to get ingots:

• Crimson Iron Ingot from Crimson Iron Dust or chunks.
• Azure Silver Ingot from Azure Silver Dust or chunks.
• Blaze Gold Ingot from Blaze Gold Dust.
• Azure Electrum Ingot from Azure Electrum Dust.
• Crimson Steel Ingot from Crimson Steel Dust.

Blasting recipes are faster than smelting for these metals.

Nuggets and Blocks

Ingots can be broken into Nuggets (Crimson Iron Nugget, Azure Silver Nugget, Blaze Gold Nugget, Azure Electrum Nugget) or combined into Blocks (Block of Crimson Iron, Block of Azure Silver, Block of Blaze Gold, Block of Azure Electrum, Block of Crimson Steel, Block of Tyrian Steel, Block of Bort).

Netherwood Charcoal

Burn Netherwood in a furnace to produce Netherwood Charcoal, then compress it into Block of Netherwood Charcoal for fuel storage.
