Crafting Your First Silent Gear Tool

Gather Parts

Silent Gear tools are built from separate parts, not a single recipe. A basic tool needs a head, a binding, and sometimes a cord or handle component. Start by making a Crude Hammer, Crude Knife, and Crude Mixer to process raw materials.

Build at the Gear Smithing Table

1. Place a Gear Smithing Table.

2. Open it and choose the tool type you want, such as Axe, Dagger, or Bow.

3. Insert the required parts. An Axe needs an Axe Head and a Binding. A Bow needs Bow Limbs and a Cord.

4. Each part contributes stats based on the material it was made from.

Making Parts

Parts are produced through compound_part and gear_crafting recipes. For example, combine an Ingot or gem material with the appropriate Blueprint or Template to shape a head or blade. Blueprints such as Axe Blueprint, Dagger Blade, or Bow Limbs define the part shape. Templates let you stamp out consistent parts.

Once assembled, the finished tool appears in the output slot. Because parts are modular, you can rebuild the same tool later with better materials by swapping individual components rather than starting from scratch.
