Edit Waxed Signs Using the Mod

Why Use the Mod for Waxed Signs

Waxed signs normally cannot be edited in vanilla Minecraft. The Sign Copy Mod bypasses this limitation, allowing you to modify text on waxed signs through its GUI without removing the wax.

Editing Process

1. Right-click a waxed sign to open the edit screen

2. The Sign Copy Mod GUI will appear with all text lines visible and editable

3. Use the copy, insert, and erase functions as normal

4. Make your changes to any line

5. Confirm your edits to apply them

The wax coating remains intact after editing, so your sign stays protected from accidental changes. This is particularly useful for permanent builds, server rules, or decorative signs where you want to preserve the waxed state while still being able to update the message.
