How to Craft Any Sign Button

Shapeless Recipe

Every Sign Button is made with a shapeless recipe. Place the matching sign and the button ingredient together anywhere in the crafting grid — order does not matter.

To make an Oak Sign Button, combine an Oak Sign with a button. To make a Spruce Sign Button, combine a Spruce Sign with a button. The same pattern applies to all twelve variants:

Matching the Wood Type

The sign you use determines the result. A Crimson Sign produces a Crimson Sign Button, a Warped Sign produces a Warped Sign Button, and so on. Keep the wood type consistent so the button matches the rest of your build.

Because the recipe is shapeless, you can drop the sign and the button into any two slots of the crafting grid and pull the result out. No specific arrangement is required.
