Understand when the shader turns on and off
Automatic dimension detection
For Advanced Rocketry Shaders uses your current dimension to decide whether to render with shader effects. This happens without any manual input from you.
In normal dimensions (Overworld, Nether, End, custom worlds)
The shader is active. You see realistic lighting, shadows, and atmospheric effects. This enhances your building and exploration experience.
In space dimensions
The shader is automatically disabled. You see:
- Clear starfields and planets
- No atmospheric lighting interference
- Standard Minecraft block rendering
- Perfect visibility for rocket construction and space travel
Returning to normal dimensions
When you leave a space dimension, the shader reactivates instantly. No restart or manual toggle needed.
Manual override
If you want to disable the shader temporarily in a normal dimension (for performance or preference), use your shader hotkey to turn it off. It will reactivate when you re-enter a space dimension and return home.
