Enable Shaderific Vanilla Shaders and See All Visual Effects

Activate Fabulous Graphics

Shaderific Vanilla Shaders requires Minecraft's Fabulous graphics setting to display all shader features properly. Without it, you'll miss the bloom lighting and foliage movement effects.

1. Open the Options menu from the main screen or pause menu

2. Navigate to Video Settings

3. Find the Graphics option (usually near the top)

4. Change it from Fast or Fancy to Fabulous

5. Click Done to apply changes

Your game will restart the rendering system. You may notice a brief pause—this is normal.

Verify the Shader is Active

Once Fabulous is enabled, look for these visual changes:

  • Bloom around light sources: Torches, lanterns, and the sun should have a soft glowing halo
  • Swaying foliage: Leaves, tall grass, and crops will gently wave even without wind
  • Softer overall appearance: The world should feel slightly more polished and cartoon-like

If you don't see these effects, check that Fabulous is actually enabled in your Video Settings. Some resource packs may override the shader's appearance.
