Reduce Visual Clutter While Keeping Block Textures Clear

Understand SerenityShaders' Design Philosophy

SerenityShaders is built to keep vanilla block textures crisp without heavy visual effects. However, some optional enhancements can be toggled. Open shader settings and look for categories like Effects, Particles, or Visual Enhancements.

Disable Optional Visual Effects

If you find the shader adds effects you don't want—such as enhanced bloom, extra particle effects, or screen-space ambient occlusion—disable these toggles. This strips away non-essential visuals while preserving the core lighting and water improvements.

Maintain Texture Clarity

Avoid reducing texture resolution or enabling aggressive post-processing filters. SerenityShaders already prioritizes clean block appearance, so most texture-related settings should remain at default or high quality.

Verify Your Preferences

Walk through different biomes and building areas to confirm blocks remain easy to recognize. The shader should feel calm and uncluttered—if you still see visual noise, check if resource pack conflicts or other shader features need adjustment.
