How to Craft Reinforced Walls and Slabs for a Containment Cell

Gather the base materials

Reinforced Wall A, Reinforced Wall B, and Reinforced Wall C are the three structural wall tiers used to build containment rooms. Each has a matching Reinforced Wall A Slab, Reinforced Wall B Slab, and Reinforced Wall C Slab, plus Reinforced Wall A Stairs, Reinforced Wall B Stairs, and Reinforced Wall C Stairs for corners and ledges. Start by producing Steel, then combine it with Reinforced Iron to form the wall blocks. Reinforced Iron is the core ingredient shared across all three wall tiers, so craft a stack of it before you begin.

Build the cell shell

Place Reinforced Wall A as the inner lining of the room, then back it with Reinforced Wall B and Reinforced Wall C for the outer shell. Use the matching slabs to cap the top of the walls where a full block would clip into the ceiling, and use the stairs to close off corners without leaving gaps. For the floor, lay Containment Floor inside the cell and Metal Sublevel underneath it. For the ceiling, place Ceiling Tile or Ceiling Grate above the cell, and finish the exterior with Exterior Bottom, Exterior Middle, and Exterior Top so the outside of the structure reads as a sealed facility block. Blast Resistant Glass can replace a wall block where you want a viewing window without weakening the wall tier.
