How to Build a Laboratory Room with Computers and Lighting

Lay out the room shell

Laboratory Bottom A and Laboratory Bottom B form the lower wall band, and Laboratory Top A and Laboratory Top B form the upper band. Stack them to build a two-tone lab wall. Use Floor A, Floor A Slab, and Floor A Stairs for the main floor, or Floor B, Floor B Slab, and Floor B Stairs for a second floor style. Cap the room with Ceiling, Ceiling Tile, or Ceiling Grate, and finish the outside with Exterior Bottom, Exterior Middle, and Exterior Top. White Wall, White Slab, and White Stairs work for clean interior partitions, and Old White Wall gives a worn variant for older sections.

Furnish and light the lab

Place Computer and Personal Computer along the walls as workstations. Add Table and Chair for seating, and Office Chair for desk stations. Use Office Bottom and Office Top to build a glass-fronted office nook inside the lab. For lighting, install Ceiling Lamp, Ceiling Light, and Small Lamp. Ceiling Grate can double as a vent cover. Finish the room with Vent and Ventilation blocks on the ceiling or upper wall to suggest airflow, and use Metal Panel A or Metal Sublevel for equipment housings. Keep a Keycard Reader on the lab entrance so only authorized players can enter, and place a Heavy Button inside for emergency exit.
