How to Craft Any Colored Scarecrow

Pick Your Color

The mod registers fifteen colored scarecrows: Black, Blue, Brown, Cyan, Gray, Green, Light Blue, Light Gray, Lime, Magenta, Orange, Pink, Red, White, and Yellow Scarecrow. Each one is a separate block with its own registry entry, so you craft the exact color you want rather than dyeing a finished scarecrow after the fact.

Use the Shapeless Recipe

Colored scarecrows are made with a shapeless crafting recipe. That means the position of the ingredients in the grid does not matter — you only need the correct items present. Combine a Primitive Scarecrow with the dye color matching your target variant. For example, pairing a Primitive Scarecrow with red dye yields a Red Scarecrow, and pairing it with lime dye yields a Lime Scarecrow.

Craft the Full Set

Because the recipe is shapeless, you can fill the grid quickly: drop a Primitive Scarecrow and the matching dye anywhere in the crafting area and pull the result. Repeat for each color you need. If you want a rainbow field, craft one of each of the fifteen colors in a single sitting.

Place and Arrange

Place colored scarecrows the same way as the Primitive Scarecrow — right-click a solid block. Mix colors freely across your build; each variant is an independent block, so you can alternate them for patterns or group matching colors together.
